From dark and yucky to bright and cheery! This table was sanded, primed (Kilz latex is great), sanded again, first coat of paint, sanded, darker paint and fabric lining in the drawers, another coat of paint all over and a hit of beeswax to add a little extra sheen and keep the drawers moving smoothly.

It reeks pure awesomeness. And that is so not an Ikea table.
There is a severe heated debate on the status of this table...still! The hexagonal screws that it has might just point in the Ikea direction, and apparently it cost $59 back in the day for it.
