In the next house, I'd like to try some wallpaper -- if 2002 me was reading this, she'd think that I was crazy. Our house is wallpaper-free now (I removed a border in a bathroom when I moved in with Trevor -- mega ugly, dark pattern, scary to think about), and the house will remain that way because wallpaper has a funny effect on potential buyers. Plus I'm not going to plonk down a bunch of money on something that doesn't add value! So, looking into the future, here's a few patterns that have caught my eye:
